Clay Tech

A new program at the Boys and Girls Club, Clay Tech brings claymation to our technology center!  Claymation is a fun, hands-on introduction to animation that anyone can do.  Over the course of our Spring session, members will work in groups to create storyboards, build characters, film and edit their own movies using clay characters!  How is that possible?  Claymation is a form of stop-motion animation that uses clay characters and props, which are photographed, moved slightly and photographed again!  When the pictures are strung together in a movie, the characters appear to be moving on their own.  Sound interesting?  Join Clay Tech today and see what it’s all about!
